To answer questions about passwords, we first have to determine what system you are trying to recover, reset or establish an account or password for. We offer many different resources and applications both online and locally installed to our members, sometimes with different methods of access.
Is the system you need access to online?
Whenever possible, Vermont Oxford Network uses single sign-on (SSO) for passwords to access online resources. Nearly all of our online resources are managed under a single account managed by a designated VON Services Administrator at your organization. Systems that can be accessed under this account include the following:
- Members Area
- Data Management
Ideally, your VON Services Administrator will know how to assist you with password or access issues to any of the above systems. If you do not know who your VON Services Administrator is, or if they are unable to assist you, or if you are a new VON Services Administrator, please feel free to contact us for assistance. Is the system you need access to online but not listed above?
Currently, the only online system that is accessed separately from your default web account is the Learning Management System (LMS). We are currently working on implementing single sign-on with the vendor. Whenever possible, we have duplicated your default web account credentials but it is possible that they may go out of sync. Enrollment and access to the Learning Management System is managed by your Center Champion, a designated staff person at your organization.
Ideally, your Center Champion will know how to assist you with password or access issues with the LMS. If you do not know who your Center Champion is, or if they are unable to assist you, or if you are a new Center Champion, please feel free to contact us for assistance. Is the system you need access to installed locally or used for VON data entry?
Data entry and submission to Vermont Oxford Network is usually performed using our eNICQ application. This application is installed locally at your center and account access is managed by anyone at your center who has an "Administrator" level account within eNICQ.
Ideally, you would be able to get assistance from another eNICQ user at your center with an Administrator level eNICQ account. If you are a new user to eNICQ and you have nocoworker with an eNICQ account, please feel free to contact us for assistance. Are you an IT professional trying to gain or grant access to the eNICQ database?
To be specific, this information would only apply if you are a database administrator (DBA) trying to establish database level permissions to the enicqdb using SQL Server Management Studio. If this describes your situation and you would like to know the default password for the enicquser SQL account, we are sorry but we do not release that information. Instead, we strongly recommend that you either use Windows Authentication to manage database access, or if that is not consistent with your practices, please create a new, unique SQL account of your own naming with a unique password that you will manage. Assign your new SQL account the enicqdbuser role (established by our db create scripts) to grant all necessary end-user permissions.
