Community Forum Quick Start Guide

A brief overview of how to use the Community Forum can be found below.

Read:

Your homepage will default to the latest conversations. You can change how conversations are filtered by New, Top and Categories.  

Click on the topic you are interested in and read what is available.

Reply/Post:

To reply to a post, or reply to the initial item in a topic:

• click the green reply button
• type your response
• click the green reply button

If someone replies to your post or mentions you (by using @your username) you will see a number on the right side above your profile picture.

Replies and mentions will be indicated by the numbers by your profile picture

To attach a file to your reply or post, just drag and drop the file into the text field, or click the Upload button, select the file you wish to upload, and click Open.

Either drag and drop a file or click the upload button and select a file to attach it to your post

If you aren’t logged in at the time the reply is written, an email will be sent to you notifying you of the reply.

Search:

You can click on the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner to search for items of interest.

Click the magnifying glass in the top right to search the Community Forum

Create a New Topic:

• click + New Topic 

Click the New Topic button in the top right to begin a new topic

• type a title for your topic (must be a minimum of 15 characters)
• provide an initial post

• click + Create Topic to create the topic

Logout:

When you are done, you can log out by following these instructions:

• click on your profile picture
• click on your username
• click Logout
